Ingersoll has a longstanding reputation for nearly 120 years, providing automatic watches excellent quality, known for their accuracy and affordability. The Ingersoll company was founded by the two brothers Richard and Charles, who created the first watches in the United States with an automatic mechanism, in 1892. The novelty of Ingersoll was the affordable price and the fact that the watches were made in the States. The pocket watches by Ingersoll, sold millions of copies and were worshiped by many popular actors and politicians. The clock that had with Mickey Mouse on it’s dial become very successful the 50s. In the late 80’s, the Ingersoll brand was purchased by Zeon Ltd and has ever since struggled to make affordable watches with a classic American style. Ingersoll launched the collection “Bison" in 2007 and it's great success was due to the fact that it provided something unique. Reliable automatic and mechanical watches -at very affordable prices.
